Educating For conservation :

Citizens need to wake up to the impending threat to our priceless heritage.
The need of hour is to initiate conservation process. For this purpose it becomes imperative to involve younger generation in the campaign for generating awareness about our unique heritage.
The heritage and communication service of INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) has been involved in building a network of heritage clubs in schools.

Objectives of Heritage club :

Imparting skills to teachers so that they develop their own heritage awareness programme.
Dispensation of heritage educational material among students Motivation of teachers to use appropriate resource material in class room teaching
Motivation of teachers to play an effective role in sensitizing children about heritage
