Release of “Cultural Resource Mapping of Srinagar City

Photographic Exhibition

As a sequel to the main function, a photographic exhibition on Srinagar’s built heritage was also held at SKICC. The Photo exhibition depicted various themes woven around rich legacy of the Srinagar City. It showcased breathtaking beauty of the historic monuments and various architectural features of the city.

Screening of Documentary film

A thirty minutes documentary film was also screened in the auditorium hall of SKICC. The film revolved around evolution of historic architecture of Kashmir.

Heritage Education Workshop 20th to 21 July 2006

INTACH J&K Chapter in collaboration with Directorate of School Education and Department of Tourism organized two days workshop on heritage education. Teachers from 30 schools participated in this workshop. Furthermore, during the workshop participants also visited some historic places in Srinagar City.
