>> An exhibition of photographs and write up detailing the rich architectural heritage of Srinagar city was mounted with the launch of the report, Shehr-i-Kashmir – Cultural Resource Mapping of Srinagar City on the 20th of September 2005 at Sher-I- Kashmir International Conference Centre, Srinagar. The event was attended by a selected gathering of opinion makers comprising scholars, citizens, teachers, media and NGO’s.

>> Heritage Education and Communication Service (HECS), INTACH is conducting Heritage Awareness Programmes all over India. This includes Teacher Training Workshops on Heritage Awareness and Setting up of Heritage Clubs in Schools. Under this programme HECS, INTACH is organizing Workshops in schools in Kashmir. The workshops aim at involving the youth for heritage conservation of state by forming heritage clubs at school level.

>> Heritage Tours and walks are regularly conducted within the heritage zones of Srinagar city. The walks are conducted for students, Journalists and foreign tourists
