Mission

To conserve heritage on the belief that living in harmony with heritage enhances quality of life and creates a sense of belonging amongst the present and future generations.

Aims and Objectives

1. Work for conservation of natural, built, and cultural heritage of the state.

2. Develop into highly competent and efficient organization in all matters concerning preservation and conservation of the heritage by building the requisite professional skills.

3. Undertake inventorisation (listing) of
i) Natural Heritage
ii) Built Heritage
iii) Art and Cultural Heritage.

4. Spread concern and a sense of belonging amongst the local community about its heritage;

5. Undertake projects for conservation and prepare proposals, management guidelines and long term development plans for heritage monuments.
